Thick & Tight – Natural Behaviour

A playful and profound night of dance theatre that celebrates the wild and wonderful in all of us.

Step into a world where dance meets satire, science and storytelling as Thick & Tight present Natural Behaviour, a unique performance blending the beautiful, the bizarre and the thought-provoking.

This inventive show is part variety performance, part live biology essay, exploring what it means to be natural or unnatural. Through dance, poetry, impersonation and comedy, Natural Behaviour offers a queer and creative look at the essential role of diversity across all forms of life.

The line-up of characters includes two moths, post-apocalyptic cockroaches, a blade of grass, the dust in Quentin Crisp’s room, a sorrowful songbird, a tyrant, and a lesbian seagull. Expect the unexpected in a performance that moves between the outrageous, the heartfelt and the hilarious.

Co-directed by Daniel Hay-Gordon and El Perry, Thick & Tight are joined by a cast of talented dance artists and collaborators.
