An evening of music, stories and poetry

Come along and listen to some unique and powerful vocalists as well as original music played by some exciting independent songwriters, topped off with relatable poetry and storytellers who will make you laugh, make you cry and feel empowered.

This event merges two prominent scenes together for an ultimate evening of storytelling. The evening will feature award-winning published poets, critically acclaimed cabaret artists and undiscovered music talent.

This event is a fundraiser for To Bee Productions Cabaret Artist Development Scheme in collaboration with Sonata where artists work with industry leading artist to devise a short cabaret set which include creative writing and acting through song masterclasses which are open to all.

“Songs and Words” will be hosted by Jas Nisic, a critically acclaimed cabaret artist and founder of To Bee Productions, a Queer led theatre company who tell stories through cabaret as well as co-running Blue Balloon Theatre, the Saboteur Award nominated theatre company for Poetry and Spoken word events across the North West.
