Experience the world premiere of a powerful new work by composer Rushil Ranjan, performed live with Manchester Camerata and legendary Sufi vocalist Jyoti Nooran.
Blending orchestral arrangements with the soul-stirring depth of Qawwali, this performance brings the acclaimed Orchestral Qawwali Project to MIF25 for the first time.
Founded by Ranjan and Abi Sampa in 2020, the project has gained international recognition for its fusion of Sufi poetry, Indian classical traditions and Western orchestration. For this special commission, Ranjan joins forces with Manchester Camerata – one of the UK’s most innovative orchestras – and Nooran, whose vocals have helped bring Punjabi Sufi music to global audiences.
