Grammy-nominated Max ZT (House of Waters) and genre-blurring artist Dan Whitehouse return to the UK for their third collaborative tour, bringing together their unique sonic worlds in a bold and healing live performance.
Known for his virtuosic hammered dulcimer playing—often compared to Hendrix—New York-based ZT joins forces with Whitehouse, whose career bridges Tokyo and the Black Country. Their performances blend spoken word, song, and spontaneous musical invention, with each show offering an immersive, emotionally resonant experience.
Together, they perform music from their acclaimed cross-continental album ‘Ten Steps’, recorded between New York and Tokyo, alongside solo material and improvised pieces created live on stage.
Expect meditations on themes ranging from fatherhood, the poetry of everyday life, and the global political landscape, including reflections on the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. At once grounded and transcendental, this is a duo that invites audiences to connect deeply with sound and story.
