“On the 29th April 2022 I was a passenger in a car and I was involved in a very serious car accident in Manchester, which gave me very serious injuries and some life changing ones. I was in the major trauma unit at the NHS Salford Royal Hospital for two months and had three operations, plus all of my ongoing treatment and physio. I am organising a United Legends Dinner to give back to Salford Royal Hospital and Helping Hands (a charity that gave me a wheelchair when I was discharged from hospital) The money raised is 100% not for profit, 90% going to Salford Royal Hospital (Orthopedics department) and 10% to Helping Hands Charity.” – Amy Parkinson
