A Public Talk for everyone with Visiting Teacher, Internationally renowned Buddhist Monk Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.
When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations, we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience come from the mind. If we were to respond to difficult situations with a positive and peaceful mind they would not be problems for us; indeed, we may even come to regard them as challenges or opportunities for growth and development.
Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind. Therefore, if we want to be happy all the time and to be free from problems, we must maintain and develop a peaceful mind. Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab has been studying, practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 40 years. He will share simple and practical methods that we can use in our busy daily lives to help to overcome our problems and improve our peaceful mind and our good heart.
