British music icons Duran Duran are summoning all Halloween enthusiasts to show up, dress up, and celebrate All Hallows’ Eve in style at Manchester’s Co-Op Live on Friday, 31 October 2025.
Fans can expect a one-night-only exclusive Halloween set filled with the essential hits, alongside rarely-played songs from the Duran Duran crypt. Now a highly anticipated annual tradition, The Danse Macabre Halloween Party was originally conceptualised at a fabled 31 October gig for the ages in 2022 at the Wynn Theatre, Las Vegas. Now that special night is immortalised across 13 songs on the band’s 16th studio album, Danse Macabre – a spectacular record threading together new music, themed covers, and darkly reimagined versions of Duran Duran’s classic songs.
Speaking ahead of the show, keyboardist Nick Rhodes said: “We are devilishly delighted to announce that we are bringing our annual Halloween extravaganza to the UK for the first time.
It will be a unique, themed show unlike any of our other performances, overflowing with shocks and surprises — so even we do not know what may happen on the night…
We invite you to dress for the occasion and Danse Macabre with us at Co-op Live in Manchester on 31st October.”
Frontman and lead vocalist Simon Le Bon added: “I’m so excited to be coming to Manchester for this special Halloween concert. In fact, I’m thrilled — and, frankly, a little terrified!”
The unique Co-Op Live show will mark the band’s first UK Halloween party, after a stunning sold out Madison Square Garden performance in 2024. Forbes Magazine described the night as “a mix of chills, glamour and fun that only this band could deliver”, whilst Brooklyn Vegan tipped the show, “a total blast”.
The news arrives amidst a year of exciting creative projects from Duran Duran. In Spring the band launched two new perfumes crafted in collaboration with luxury Italian perfume house, Xerjoff. A multi-sensory live theatrical launch marked the unveiling of the fragrances, NeoRio and Black Moonlight – the latter named after the Danse Macabre album’s lead single. Watch the music video filmed by legendary Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund (Madonna, Beyoncé, Metallica, Lady Gaga) here.
The band are currently touring their revered live show in stadiums and arenas across Europe after a major appearance at the 75th annual Sanremo Music Festival – a full circle moment 40 years after their debut there in 1985. The performance featured Måneskin bassist Victoria De Angelis performing ‘Psycho Killer’, another Danse Macabre album favourite. Amongst their busy live schedule, Duran Duran have also been in the studio together this year working on new material– most recently with Nile Rodgers at Abbey Road in London.
