Step into an intense, immersive performance by artist and choreographer Blackhaine, where movement, music and emotion collide.
And Now I Know What Love Is explores the space between birth and death through raw choreography, spoken word and powerful sound. Set inside an industrial venue in Manchester, the piece is inspired by the harsh beauty of the North West’s urban landscapes – places shaped by isolation, resilience and memory.
Performed live by a company of dancers, the audience is invited to move around the edges of the space, becoming part of the atmosphere as sound, light and bodies shift around them.
Combining elements of drill, noise, and physical theatre, the work is both cathartic and confrontational – challenging ideas of love, belonging and despair in today’s world.
Known for his boundary-pushing style, Blackhaine’s work spans music, choreography and visual art, with a distinctive approach that has earned him international acclaim.
And Now I Know What Love Is offers a visceral journey into the unknown – a haunting meditation on life, loss and what it means to feel anything at all.
