Catch British singer, songwriter and producer Aiden Grimshaw live at Band on the Wall, headlining a special fundraiser in support of Manchester Mind.
Aiden first found fame on The X Factor in 2010, where his emotional vocals drew comparisons to Michael Stipe of R.E.M. His debut album Misty Eye was released in 2012 to critical acclaim, earning praise from The Guardian, BBC, NME, and others. It reached the UK Top 20, with two hit singles also charting.
Since then, Aiden has carved out a unique space as both an artist and producer, releasing two independent EPs and a series of popular tracks under the name Butterjack, including the standout Good Girls, which racked up over two million Spotify streams. His collaborations have been backed by national radio and major remixes.
In 2024, Aiden returned with new music blending his signature style with fresh sounds. Tracks like Pretender and I Couldn’t Love You Anymore have earned him spots on global playlists and renewed critical acclaim.
