A Manchester operator is offering businesses free use of their premium cleaning service to help efforts to stay hygienic during the coronavirus pandemic.

Car servicing company Carttitude is asking public institutions and businesses to reach out for their help in an effort to promote solidarity and offer support at an unprecedentedly challenging time for many industries.

The company is able to disinfect indoor environments and ensure health and safety using its Airthereal MA10K-PRO technology – machines regularly used for air purification and sanitation, and to kill viruses, bacteria and bugs.

They are also currently in talks with emergency and public services, including TfGM, regarding the widespread use of their services across the city.

In a statement released today, the company said: “Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we want, through our expertise, to help the community as much as possible, to overcome this difficult period.”

“We want to show responsibility in this difficult times, both for ourselves and those around us, trying to prevent the spread of this epidemic as effectively as possible.”As an active part of Manchester community, we identified the areas most affected by the epidemic, and we will try to work together with the authorities to minimise the effects of the virus.

“We carefully watch the evolution and effects of this crisis, being in constant contact with the competent institutions, supporting and respecting the measures taken to prevent the spread of the virus.

“We want to show responsibility in this difficult times, both for ourselves and those around us, trying to prevent the spread of this epidemic as effectively as possible.”

Cartittude has three powerful Airthereal ozone generators at its disposal.

Its current plan is for one to be used to help clean emergency and public services and one to help disinfect struggling sectors such as hotels and hospitality.

The third will be made available at their showroom for people wanting to disinfect their vehicles.

Whilst vehicle disinfection will not be free, a significantly reduced rate has been devised for those who want to buy hygiene treatments. These start from £30 for a small car and £50 for an extra large car, when usually car cleaning rates would start from £150.

How do Airthereal ozone generators work?

Airthereal ozone generators use oxygen, nature’s powerful deodoriser, to cleanse bacteria and viruses and purify air.

The ozone (O3) machine contains three atoms of oxygen. The third oxygen atom makes ozone extremely reactive, which readily attaches itself to other molecules.

As a result, when odours, bacteria or viruses meet ozone, oxidation reactions occur and both parties are destroyed. Ozone essentially reverts back to oxygen.

All ozone machines are for unoccupied space only. A timer must be set before leaving the room and no people or pets can be in the room when it’s working. When all residual ozone reverts back to oxygen, it is then safe to return to the room.
