If you’ve got an adorable pug, dachshund, pomeranian or French bulldog in your life, prick up those ears.

Four pop-up dog cafes are heading to Manchester next month, for all owners and fans of the four different and lovable dog breeds to get involved.

There will be separate menus just for the pooches, including doggy treats like dognuts, pupcakes and pawsecco.

Organised by the team behind the popular Pop-Up Pug Cafe events, the four doggy events are all in celebration of the new film The Secret Life of Pets 2.

Owners or lovers of any of the four breeds can book on to a number of different time slots on Sunday, May 19th, for the 70-minute events, depending on whether the dog you own or love is a frenchie, pom, sausage dog or pug.

The doggy cafes will all take place at The Refinery bar and restaurant on Spinningfields, with time slots available to book throughout the day.

You can book for the events as either an “owner” or a “lover” and will need to send the total number of dogs and friends you hope to take along as well as your contact number and preferred time slot.

The dachshund cafe is available to book at 11.15am and 5.30pm.

The frenchie cafe will be at 1.45pm or 6.45pm.

The pug cafe is at 10am and 3pm and the pom cafe at 12.30pm and 4.15pm – but these two events have already sold out and there are long waiting lists for both.

Tickets cost £7.50 if you’re an owner, or £10 if you’re just a fan.

The emails you need are [email protected] or [email protected]; and [email protected] or [email protected] for the remaining time slots.

And if you don’t like dogs?  Probably a good idea to avoid The Refinery on that date.
