Situated in the heart of Exchange Square, Busaba offers visitors the ultimate Thai experience, from the dishes to the decor. Serving classic, quality Thai food and hospitality, the restaurant is set over three floors where old jostles with new in a heady mix of tradition meets contemporary.

The restaurant is set over three floors. The restaurant, bar and impressive open kitchen are on the ground floor. In the bar, a range of flavoursome Thai teas, Thai inspired juices, signature cocktails, local and far-away beers and more are on offer. A feature-focal staircase leads to the first floor where there is further restaurant space. The decor is a heady mix of tradition meets contemporary. There’s also an impressive outside terrace, perfect for eating alfresco on those hot summer days and balmy summer evenings.

The menu has  a fine balance of quality value and traditional dishes inspired by modern Bangkok, including their best selling Thai Calamari, famous Pad Thai and iconic Thai curries, all made with Busaba’s secret recipe curry pastes developed in association with Michelin star chef David Thompson.

Busaba have just launched their new summer menu which can be enjoyed alongside their classics throughout the summer. It features a range of fragrant and vibrant dishes inspired by the heat and flavours of Bangkok with a focus on seasonal ingredients.

New small plates ideal for a light summer bite include duck and pineapple lettuce bites (with cucumber, mint, shallots, sweet chilli lime dressing) and bang-kick prawns (tempura prawns, Thai seasoned mayo, mango).

A taste of summer is added to the main menu in four new dishes including Thai summer beef salad (slow cooked beef, cherry tomatoes, green vegetables, wonton crisp), grilled chicken and mango salad (with baby gem, cherry tomatoes, mint, sweet chilli lime dressing, wonton crisp).

Thais know that the best way to cool down in the summer is to eat a hot and spicy meal – which explains their love of curries and chilli. As the temperatures rise over here, Busaba diners can opt for one of two new curry dishes – patpong chicken noodles (curried noodles, shiitake mushrooms, green beans, crunchy chow-chow), and fish curry with starfruit (served with jasmine rice).

Small plates are from £6.95 and mains from £11.95.

Busaba  is the perfect venue for any occasion, whether it’s intimate dining or larger eating parties.

And for the ultimate Thai experience, Busaba are offering you the chance to win an amazing trip to Bangkok in collaboration with the Bangkok State of Summer campaign.
