If you’re a football fan and you can’t get a ticket for the match, the next best thing is watching it with your mates and fellow supporters over a pint or two.

With this in mind, Black Dog Ballroom NWS has renamed its private ballroom Red Dog Ballroom and is opening it up exclusively to United fans for every game the Reds play this season.

The pincode protected private event space is the perfect place to watch the match with friends. It holds up to 70 people and has its own free pool table, bar and HD screen. The venue has licenses to show both BT Sport and Sky Sport matches throughout the season and also has an MUTV subscription so fans will not miss a second of the action.

The Red Dog Ballroom launched for the first match of the season against Tottenham, and to welcome Bastian Schweinsteiger, the Reds’ first ever German player, served free Bratwurst at half time instead of the usual free pizza.

So if you’re looking for a Reds only space in the city centre to watch United games this season why not give it a try? Games coming up before the end of the month are Newcastle United (Saturday 22 August, KO 12.45pm), Brugge (Wednesday 26 August, KO 7.45pm) and Swansea City (Sunday 30 August, KO 4pm).

Black Dog Ballroom NWS isn’t just for United fans. The venue will be showing the majority of domestic and international big games on its HD screens on the roof terrace and first floor bar.

And it’s not just for football fans. Also showing throughout the year are big sporting events including The Ashes, Grand Prix, and, of course, the Rugby World Cup which starts on 28 September.
