1. Money

Rsz Money

With haunting falsetto vocals, delicately built songs that ebb and flow through lush layers of instrumentation, and lines that make you shiver like someone’s stepped on your grave, Manchester’s Money could make for a dreamy prospect live. But forget personal reflection, these shows are as electric and captivating as any pumped up punk gig, with lead singer Jamie Lee throwing himself from stage and into the faces of the crowd with cheek and charm in abundance. It’s been two years since the release of their debut album, the beautiful The Shadow Of Heaven on the ever excellent Bella Union label. Be there to welcome them back to the world of the living at The White Hotel this November. Get face value tickets with no booking fees.

2. High Hoops

Rsz High Hoops

The ever-reliable High Hoops tastemakers are bringing Strength Music boss DJ Qu to Manchester. His recent release on Secretsundaze scored rave reviews – punchy melodies, orchestral strings, stabby synths and hard hitting drums. And that’s exactly what Ramon Quezada has mastered over the past decade. On November 13th, the techno stalwart spearheads Hidden in Manchester alongside ClekClekBoom’s French Fries, Bristol’s NTS resident Shanti Celeste, Chicago’s Amir Alexandrer, Means&3rd and Kerrie. 3. LA Priest

With the psych-pop prog of Ariel Pink or early Unknown Mortal Orchestra, former Late Of The Pier front man Sam Eastgate has been reborn as LA Priest. The Guardian called him a genius, while NME gave his debut album, the gloriously imaginative Inji, a massive nine out of ten. With slick bass, pulsating samples and a yearning delivery as sexy as it is playful, Eastgate has been whipping crowds around the UK all summer with his scintillating live performance and silky suits. Rsz Levon Vincent

For the past few years, Novel Sound head-honcho Levon Vincent has been circling the techno-sphere with an air of dominance from his incredible productions. Pile-driving kicks, masterful hi-hats and godly melodies, the man has it all. However, his recent self-titled LP shot him into a new world with Pitchfork stamping it with an 8.3 and everyone from Four Tet and Nina Kraviz rinsing it’s produce. November 14th will see the techno heavy-weight headline Hidden in Manchester, and we couldn’t think of a more incredible space to witness this master. Get face value tickets with no booking fees.

With fourth album The Most Lamentable Tragedy due this July, first track Dimed Out is as raw an affair as ever with driving guitar line, striving delivery, and the sort of refrain you’ll chant with fist punching air. A band that always connect live, singer Patrick Stickles stage presence is as aggressive as it is addictive. Get face value tickets with no booking fees.
