You know Christmas isn’t far away when Oktoberfest comes to town.

It’s one of the most popular elements of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival and it’s back until Sunday 6th October. This year it’s housed in the Drinking Den Marquee in the Festival Hub in Albert Square where visitors will be treated to three of the best German beers including Kaltenberg Royal, a true Bavarian lager served in traditional Oktoberfest style.

The Oktoberfest will also offer Warsteiner and Konig Ludwig Weiss Bier. So festival-goers will have plenty of time to celebrate in true Oktoberfest fashion, alongside the 100 Greatest Manchester Beers Showcase in the same bar. Local artists will be taking to the stage throughout culminating on Sat 5th with a big Bavarian beer-stomping band when the Drinking Den will become a real Oktoberfest bonanza.

Entry to the Hub is free, giving the perfect excuse to visit and enjoy that holiday feel.
