After sell-out events in New York City and London, a Mean Girls brunch is coming to Manchester, styled on the much-loved noughties movie and featuring cocktails, themed games, brunch favourites and, of course, the Burn Book!

The brunch is based on the 2004 American comedy film starring Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey, and is responsible for some of the most memorable quotes in modern cinema.

The story of Cady Heron and her time at US high school under the influence of popular girl gang ‘The Plastics’ will come to life around you in a day full of delights from 12pm til 5pm.

All the while the film will be playing in the background, so you can quote as you go, and guests are encouraged to wear the Mean Girls’ favourite colour – pink!

There’s bottomless prosecco for the first hour, followed by exclusive drinks such as the Glen Coco and Carb-less Butter cocktails.

Regina George may have asked “is butter a carb?” but do you really care when the drinks are so good?

When the barman shouts “That’s so…” – there’s only one thing to shout back: “Fetch!” The first person to do so gets their hands on a free shot.

And if you’re not quite quick enough, there’s still a chance to win. Guests can compete for the title of Spring Fling King or Queen, and those who take the crown will be treated to two free cocktails of their choice.

Vent your anger in the ‘Burn Book’ that will be circling on the day, and in tribute to the famous phrase “Don’t have sex, because you will get pregnant and die” – there will even be free condoms!

We are sure that the day itself will be exciting enough though, and tickets are set to sell fast – so don’t miss out.

It’s set to take place on Saturday 17 March at a top-secret city centre location – with details only known to ticket holders. So get in, loser. Price per person is £35 and that includes a brunch main and dessert, plus an hour of bottomless prosecco.

Whatever. I’m getting cheese fries.
