Infamous Diner has launched an epic new menu, bursting at the seams with all your favourites, plus lots of exciting new dishes from diner classics to wings, burgers and dogs.

Part of the MAD Ltd group of bars and restaurants, the 1950s-inspired diner has also updated its cocktail menu and launches Late Night Liquor, Beats & Eats offering 2 for £10 cocktails every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm, with late night food options and a cult movie and soundtrack.

Group executive chef Jason Latham, who is renowned for his love of smoke and BBQ cooking, is blazing a trail with his new menu, which has more variety, more flavours and for those who like to push their eating to the limits (or just fancy a huge feast), there’s even a new Pancake Challenge.

Competitors will have 30 minutes to eat 21 Infamous pancakes – that’s seven three stack pancakes with all the toppings. The T&Cs state no sharing and no bog runs. Those who manage it will be spared the £25 price tag and will get a T-shirt, pin badge and their name on the wall of fame.

New Diner Classics include Chicken and Waffles (£10.95), Infamous secret recipe fried chicken with home-made bacon stuffed waffles and white sausage gravy; the All American Breakfast (£13.95) – a feast of all your breakfast favourites plus pancakes and waffles with Infamous syrup; and Hash and Eggs (£9.95) pulled beef brisket with street cart onions and fried potatoes.

Infamous Diner Manchester The ColonelBurger lovers can rejoice, as there are now 15 to choose from, with options to take them single or as double patties plus three new vegetarian options.

New mouth-watering burger options include the Nacho Mama (from £10.95) with Mexican cheddar, salsa tortilla chips, sour cream, pickled red chilli and jalapenos; California Love (from £11.95) loaded with smashed avocado, smoked bacon jam, crispy onions and sweet red pickled chilli; and the piece de résistance – Go Big or Go Home (£16.95), their biggest burger, with a beef patty, buttermilk chicken breast, pulled pork, bacon, crispy halloumi, Monterey Jack cheese, BBQ and burger sauce!

Smaller eats include all-new sub rolls, with tangy meatball (£8.95) served with basil and Parmesan cheese and the Big Philly (£9.95), loaded with beef brisket cooked for 12-hours and topped with sweet pickled chili and cheese sauce.

Infamous salads are perfect for the summer months or those wanting a lighter option, with avocado, copped baby gem, cucumber, tomato, red onion, egg and ranch dressing (£7.95) and can be topped with a variety of tasty additions from beetroot falafel, chicken and bacon, pulled pork and crispy panko fried halloumi (from £2.00 extra).

“I’m really happy with this new menu,” says Jason. “It’s big, it’s tasty and it’s full of flavour – just like an American diner menu should be. Those who know me, know that this style of food is my signature so you will not be disappointed.”

Infamous Diner Manchester CocktailsDessert fans can tuck in to six different cheesecakes, including Banana and Toffee, Candy Bacon and Choc Chip Cookie (all £5.95). Or sweet pies (£4.95) come in the form of Cookie Dough, Banoffee and Deep Filled Apple. Pancakes, waffles and ice cream sundaes also feature.

And MAD’s mixologists have been working up new additions to the cocktail menu, which will all be available as 2 for £10 from 5pm (Sunday – Thursday) and from 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays until close.

New retro tipples includes the colourful classic Alabama Slammer with Southern Comfort, Amaretto, Absolut vodka, grenadine and orange juice and the June Bug – a fruity affair with Malibu, Midori, banana, lime and pineapple.

The new Infamous Diner menu is now available and the Late Night Liquor, Beats & Eats launches on Friday 4th March from 9pm.
