There’s a festival for almost everything - Food and Drink, Jazz, Beer and Cider, Gin, Film, Whisky, Punk, Vegan, Festejar (Spanish), and Literature to name but a few, not to mention the Manchester International Festival, one of the UK's most innovative cultural events, which takes place every two years and Parklife, the independent music festival in Heaton Park every summer
