The Printworks is set to host a Manchester Day fundraiser in memory of the Manchester Arena victims and to celebrate the city’s resilience.

The entertainment complex’s eclectic selection of bars and eateries will be coming together for the festival to provide an enticing selection of free food and beverages, from creative cocktails to Irish stews.

Each venue will serve these for free in return for a donation towards the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

The offer will include desserts at Wagamama, a bellini cocktail from Prezzo, a Flamingo Fling cocktail at Bierkeller, Bumblebee shooters at Walkabout, an Irish stew thanks to Waxy O’Connors, as well as a burger from Tiger and Tiger. Frankie & Benny’s will be treating families to a kids eat free offer.

With sixteen food and drinks venues to choose from, you can grab some food and enjoy everything that The Printworks has to offer including live music with acts from the Manchester with Love charity album to keep you entertained throughout the day.

If that isn’t enough, there will also be activities for the kids including face painting, so the whole family can get involved.

All money raised will be donated to the Red Cross Fund, which ultimately goes to the individuals and families who have been injured or bereaved by the attack, as well as the wider Manchester community who may have been affected by the events last month.

“The events at the Manchester Arena really touched our hearts and we really felt the need to help raise money for those affected,” said The Printworks’ Laura McGaghey.

“We thought Manchester Day would be a great opportunity to celebrate the city that pulled together in such dark times. The various bars and restaurant in the complex will be offering different special treats towards to fundraising campaign.”

The Printworks is also creating a memorial for the victims and their families with a selection of memory rocks. Customers will have the chance to design or a leave a heartfelt message on individual rocks. The rocks can either be taken away or left with The Printworks to create an everlasting memorial on the rooftop garden.

To spread the love and join in the fun for an excellent community cause, make your way down to The Printworks 12 until 4 pm on Sunday 18th June.
