Students looking to plan ahead for the summer and buy their holiday essentials, festival outfits and summer fashions at discount prices will be descending on intu Trafford Centre on Wednesday 3 May in the hunt for designer and high street deals.

There’s tons of bargains in loads of stores including 50% off for a blow dry and cut and finish at Andrew Collinge (Selfridges), 30% at Levis, and 20% off at lots of other places including Accessorize, Footasylum, Gap, Miss Selfridge and Timberland.

And it’s not just the stores which will be offering great discounts. Students can grab up to 50% off at lots of restaurants and leisure attractions.

Tampopo are offering 50% off food on the night of the event and will continue to offer 20% off your bill Sunday – Thursday thereafter. There’s 33% off your food bill at All Bar One and 20% at Bill’s.

The event follows a series of new openings at the centre, including the first LEON  in the north west, Breitling, Khaadi and the biggest Topshop outside London, complete with a personal shopping suite, denim studio and Nailista nail and brow bar.

Zara sister brands Pull & Bear and Stradivarius have also been popular with the student market since opening last year.

Bargain hunting students can also enjoy live entertainment from bands such as The Rush, DJs from Freight Train and Capital FM and saxophonists while they shop.

And don’t forget the coolest way to get to intu Trafford Centre is by water taxi. They start from the Bridgewater Canal basin at Castlefield, picking up and dropping off at Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville’s Hotel Football at Old Trafford and turn round at intu Trafford Centre at the end of the line. Students will get 25% off the ticket price when they use the code waxistudent25 when booking. Book your Waxi tickets here.

Richard Paxton, general manager at intu Trafford Centre, said: “We’re proud to be home to some of the largest flagship stores in the country with the brand new Topshop, Topman, plus New Look, Zara and River Island so it’s no wonder so many students flock to shop here.”

The event starts at 4pm and finishes at 10pm.
