B.eat Street is relaunching its series of food and drink pop-ups in Manchester’s Great Northern with a summer street food party this Friday 28th April.

Hidden away from the busy city streets just above Deansgate Mews, Beat Street is home to secret drinking dens, a built-in beer garden and is like all your favourite food and drink markets combined.

There are two new cocktail bars to enjoy this year – Junior Jackson’s, a live music venue, and The Golden Pineapple, a Cuban-style cocktail bar inspired by Havana’s historic La Piña de Plata featuring craft gins, too.

And what’s on the menu? Resident food vendor Eat New York specialise in salt beef bagels, burgers, subs and dogs, and they’ll be joined every week by a rotating programme of pop-up eateries such as Dirty Revolution, Paella Y Tapas and Burger Bear.

You can spend all day – and night – here, whether you want to chill in the comfy chairs or get up in the dancing space.

This year’s B.eat Street pop-up will certainly be the place to soak up the Vitamin D this summer.

“When the sun shines in Manchester it’s described as the best place on earth,” says B.eat Street MD Lyndon Higginson.

“The only problem is there aren’t many good spots to really enjoy it with a drink and outside music, but we are back to change that. Our secret terrace is the perfect secluded suntrap and with tunes, food and booze on offer what more could a Mancunian want on a gloriously sunny day.”

For the launch weekend special, the food trader line-up features insanity burgers from Dirty Food Revolution, banging vegan treats from Nicely Kitchen and Yum Yum’s Caribbean Grill with beats from the Bad Fun DJ’s, the Izzie Walsh Trio and King Kartel.

Kicking off the weekend will be local promoter Bad Fun with DJ tunes, and with names such as Joy Social and Groove already scheduled for the rest of the summer, it’s clear that with the special sun terrace and DJ decks, this is the place to be this summer for relaxed eating, drinking and dancing.

B.eat Street will be open Wednesday-Friday 5pm-12am and Saturday-Sunday 12-12am until August Bank Holiday.
