Daniel Jillings, co-founder of Once Upon A Smile, which provides practical and emotional support for bereaved families, said:  “It’s a big challenge, but I’m confident our team will perform on the night. The food sounds delicious and our team have huge appetites!

“It’s going to be a really fun event so we hope plenty of shoppers will come down to cheer us on and also help us raise even more money for charity.”

Also competing will be staff from local businesses including intu Trafford Centre, local car dealer Fords of Winsford, Leasing Options, Exclusec Security, PH Media and Trafford Leisure.

The epic eating challenge will take place at 6.30pm in the Orient, intu Trafford Centre on Thursday 6 April and shoppers are encouraged to come along and show their support.
