Does the nicest person in Britain live in Manchester?

Are you a nice person? Nice enough to do the nicest job in Britain? Or maybe you know someone who is.

The job is National Philanthropy Manager for NicestJobs.com. The successful applicant will be paid a salary of £30,000 to travel the country helping 40 different charities from animal rescue to children’s hospices.

He or she will succeed 27-year-old Luke Cameron from Cheltenham who is leading the search for his replacement. Luke got the job last year by carrying out a random act of kindness every day and was dubbed the ‘Nicest Man In Britain’ by the Daily Mail.

“The Nicest Job in Britain was incredible,” says Luke. “I was able to travel the country and visit so many amazing charities but also meet some truly inspirational people too. What is so lovely now is that I get to continue this work and find my replacement this year!”

Last year, Luke joined a different charity each week, from small local to large national, and used his energy and skills to help and assist the charity in whatever capacity they required. They included The British Heart Foundation, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Brain Tumor Research, Help For Heroes, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Parkinson’s UK and the Donkey Sanctuary.
