Everyone can get involved and burn off some of those calories – and the classes will be accompanied by show-stopping Brazilian dancers and singers. How’s that for inspirational?

This is your opportunity to engage with some of the finest fitness professionals in Manchester, starting with a four-hour session to the beat of a live DJ from 12pm onwards.

Brought to you by The Printworks and top gym on the inside, Nuffield Health, in partnership with the Greater Sport charity, the festival shows that getting fit with the experts is possible and can be fun!

Nuffield are bringing some of their most popular branded classes from their sleek Printworks studios out into the open including Body Attack, Body Combat, Zumba and Zumba Step.

“We love bringing our fitness classes out to the public to get everyone involved,” says Kenny Fletcher from Nuffield Health. “This time it will be bigger and better than ever!”

And as if that’s not enough, the Alternative Olympic Games are taking place at The Printworks too with events you won’t see in Rio such as hula hooping and the egg and spoon race.

Live music adds to the festival feel with Sam Q and The Night Patrol taking you well into the evening with a special Bossa Nova performance from 5-7pm.

“The Nuffield Health Fitness Festival will make the day a bona fide sporting extravaganza,” says Printworks centre director Fred Booth. “The atmosphere here will be electric and we can’t wait to see it all come to life.”

Nuffield Health memberships are available, but you don’t need to be a member to take part in the fitness festival. All you need to do is complete a simple medical form on the day.

And once you’ve built up an appetite with all that exercise why not make the most of The Printworks’ leisure scheme half-term summer offers with great deals in all 16 food and drink venues.

It’s free and it starts at 12pm.
